Description

High Park has the perfect habitat for several Toronto bee species. At one south facing hilly area within the park, there’s a special occurrence where Colletes spp., a ground nesting “celophane” bee, aggregates in large numbers. If you’re interested in bees, this is a phenomenal experience to be had. So please, join us to see these bees in action! Registered participants should meet at the south side of High Park Nature Centre on the veranda. Please do not ring the doorbell or go to the front entrance.

Note: This event is weather dependent; will only take place if the weather is appropriate for pollinator activity. Registered attendees will be notifed 24 hours prior to the event if it looks like the weather will affect activity.
