Baseball, Soccer, and Tennis
A perennial favourite, afternoon and evening soccer and baseball games are enjoyed across the road from the All-Star Cafe in High Park.
The High Park Baseball League has been providing T-Ball, Little League & O.B.A. Baseball to boys & girls ages 9 – 12 years in the Parkdale/High Park area since 1952.
For the younger ones, the High Park T-Ball Association offers T-ball for boys and girls ages 6 – 8 years.
Toronto High Park Football Club is a community-based, volunteer-run, non-profit organization. Their Mission is to promote and develop the game of soccer in the City of Toronto, specifically in High Park and its surrounding neighbourhoods. Their focus is on providing a positive and supportive soccer experience for the children and youth (ages 4 to 18) of the community. In addition, they offer both a house league and a competitive program for women. They recently added a men’s house league.
Located at 430 Parkside Drive on the eastern edge of High Park is the Howard Park Tennis Club, one of Toronto’s top community tennis clubs. The Club offers carefully maintained facilities, as well as a host of programs for our active and enthusiastic membership. Howard Park Tennis Club is a members only club managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our Club operates under the auspices of the City of Toronto Policy for Outdoor Community Tennis Club Operations. They celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2009!
