The "Friends of High
Park" is a membership program established by the
High Park Initiatives, the
registered charity dedicated to supporting
Nature Centre staff and
volunteer-led environmental education and stewardship programs in
Toronto’s
High
Park.
“Friends of High Park” are a
community made up of dedicated individuals, couples and families who share
in HPI’s commitment to protecting, preserving and restoring
High
Park’s
woodland, savannah and wetland ecosystems for future generations.
Membership supports numerous environmental
activities carried out
by the High Park Nature Centre and in partnership with programs of the
High Park Community Advisory Council (HPCAC), various community
organizations and City of Toronto departments.
