High Park K9 Cleanup &

Howl-oween Doggie Costume Contest
October 27th

(rain day 28th)

Cleanup day
Several times a year, the High Park K9 committee, holds cleanup days to help give back to our local park.  Volunteers from the community spread out throughout the park picking up garbage left in the park by both two-legged and four-legged park visitors. Everyone who participates in the cleanup day will receive a ballot for prizes generously donated by local businesses.  Have a question or comment about the off-leash area or dogs in the park? Members of the K9 committee will be on hand to take your suggestion and answer any questions.  In addition the City of Toronto Animal Services will be on hand if you want to license your pet, learn more about animal adopting or learn about bite prevention.

The cleanup will begin on Dog Hill on the 27th at 9am and go until 11am.
Volunteers will be on the hill throughout the morning to hand out gloves, bags and direction.

After the cleanup be sure to join us at noon for our
Howl-oween Doggie Costume Contest and Party

Dress you favourite four-legged friend up and come join us at the party. There will be free drinks and food for all the people and prizes in a variety of categories for the dogs.  Everyone is welcome.

Can't come to the cleanup day or the party but still want to contribute.  The K9 committee is always looking for donations for prizes for these events and others.  In addition monetary donations are always welcome and are tax deductible if made to High Park Initiative.  The HPI is a registered charity dedicated to supporting volunteer-led environmental education and stewardship programs in Toronto's High Park.  Please mark "For K9" on your donation to direct you money to K9 projects.
